It might be a bug. Note that you can drop the $(SciteDefaultHome) part,
as it is automatically searched if the file isn't in the local folder of
the file in buffer.
can you implement a option for command.* to start external
applications without waiting for their termination (don't disable the
other commands).
Did you tried subsystem=1? It might do the trick. (not tried)
