i use ext.lua.startup.script now and the menuitem is displayed ;)

i have defined my windows-commands (applications with GUI) with subsystem=1
like this

command.name.23.*=Öffnen mit HxD
command.23.*=$(SciteDefaultHome)\HxD.exe "$(FileNameExt)"
command.subsystem.23.*=1
command.quiet.23.*=1

but scite waits for termination (disabling all other commands)...
concerning the XML-completion, i monitor this (especially in combination with 
completeword/symbol-list). Thanks for the hint.
