Hi,

I am a devoted SciTe fan but I have a few things that I find a bit limiting
with it. Firstly, I would really love it if when for example in java, you
type, "stringname.substring" a small box (much like the autocomplete box)
would tell you the required parameters with data types. Is this possible?
You can have a calltip for substring, but SciTE can't do exactly what you want.

Secondly, I find it a bit frustrating that you have to type in a full word
before SciTe suggests it for autocomplete. Is there a setting that will
cause it to suggest statements from the list for that language or perhaps
some similar solution?
You can use an API file and call Complete Symbol.

Take care,
-Mitchell;

Many thanks,
