I use SciTE for a simulation program with various extensions (.gem,
.lua, .fly2), but I can't get them to associate to scite vs. 1.73. They
were associated, I upgraded from 1.72, and now it won't work. I am
using Windows XP. Does anyone know how to force it to associate the
extensions to scite.exe? I've tried "Open With" and browsing to the
folder, but it won't acknowledge it.

has the folder be changed? windows has problems when the path of an
executable changed...then you have to remove some reg-keys to get it working
