I have uploaded to

a suggested patch to the OpenSelected() method so that if the selected
text is a directory, the 'open dialog' appears.
I have not attempted to implement this in my GTK machine.
Neil, this is the change I mentioned in my JobQueue email that was
outside of the scope of changing the job system.
