Hi everyone,

I am trying to install the driver for my Utimaco Omnikey smartcard reader. I
have installed the pcsc/lite 1.0.1 rpm but I don't know how to install the
driver for the Omnikey 2010 that I have downloaded from www.linuxnet.com.

The DRIVERS file from the the pcsc/lite - sources tell me to

| tar -xzvf driver.bundle-0.1.0.tar.gz
| cp -r driver.bundle /usr/local/pcsc/drivers
| cd /usr/local/pcsc/drivers/driver.bundle
| build or use Project Builder to build
|
| The /usr/local/pcsc/drivers directory should contain bundle directories
only.

Well, how do I "build" the "driver bundle" ?

when I just copy the unpacked cmbs_lnx/ directory to /usr/local/pcsc/drivers/
I get :

Feb 2 19:04:08 martin pcscd: readerfactory.c 1054: RFInitializeReader:
Attempting startup of Omnikey 2010 0 0.
Feb 2 19:04:08 martin pcscd: readerfactory.c 829: RFBindFunctions: Loading
IFD Handler 2.0
Feb 2 19:04:08 martin pcscd: pcscdaemon.c 202: main: PC/SC Lite Daemon
Ready.
Feb 2 19:04:08 martin pcscd: hotplug_linux.c 145: No bundle files in pcsc
drivers directory
Feb 2 19:04:08 martin pcscd: hotplug_linux.c 146: Disabling USB support for
pcscd

So there must be a way to make a bundle file out of the
cmbs_lnx-drv-1.1.0.tar.gz driver ??

(I have SuSE Linux 7.1 w/ kernel 2.4.4)

Thanks,

Martin Kchler
