Hi.

What about a developer meeting ? Getting everyone together who does
smartcards in open source ? Would that be usefull ?

Last year at the linux kongress in enschede, nl, there were developer
meetings from herkules (s390 simulator) and netfilter (linux 2.4
firewalling). The people came two or three days before the linux
kongress started, so they could discuss whatever they choose.

I know some of the people that organize the linux kongress, and i'm
pretty sure they would like a smartcard developer meeting. Last years
developer meeting was sponsored by the german ministry of education and
research, and it's likely they will sponsor things again. Sponsoring
allowes to pay travelling and accomodation for a limit number of people
(don't know the details).

Time and place for the linux kongress are not fixed yet, but
most likely the linux kongress will take place 3. to 6. june
in karlsruhe, germany. If so, the best time for a developers
meeting might be 1./2. june ?

So, what do you think ? Would be such a developers meeting usefull ?
Open invitation or a closed doors meeting ? Would you attend ?
Is time and place acceptable ?

Any Feedback is welcome.

Regards, Andreas
