Has anyone had luck installing KDE 3.0? I am running RedHat 7.2.
I have downloaded the rpms for KDE 3.0. I have installed the qt 3.0.3 package that is required for KDE. I attempted to follow the instructions to update the rpms, and in the process really screwed up KDE 2.0. (Unfortunately, I thought doing a forced erase of all the KDE 2.0 packages would help. It did not help at all.) If anyone has had success, please let me know where I went wrong. Matthew Lee [EMAIL PROTECTED] (507) 532-2488 P.S. That qt-free-3.0.3 package took about 2 hours to compile (on a 1Ghz PIII with 512 MB RAM). I can't say that I've ever seen anything else take that long. Maybe this is part of the problem.
