Hello Everyone:
This Saturday is the Omaha Linux User Group's (OLUG) Install Fest.
Those who are interested, the Sioux City Linux User Group will be car
pooling to Omaha, visiting the OLUG Fest and seeing how it is
run. We will not be having a regular meeting this
month.
Anyone interested in going to the OLUG Install Fest should email
[EMAIL PROTECTED] We are meeting at the Sergeant Bluff Community
Center parking lot Saturday, January 11th at 10:30 AM. We would
like to leave for Omaha as a group. There will also be a restaurant
stop for lunch in Omaha before the meeting. I will be driving my
Minivan and will probably be making some short stops at Best Buy, CompUSA
and Borders before returning back to Sioux City. I hope to be back
before 5:00 PM. Let us know if you would like to drive your own
vehicle and if so, how much room you have for others (if any). If
you are looking for a ride let us know. I know a couple people are
going to be driving down with us, but will be going their separate ways
after the Fest. We plan to spend an hour or so at the Fest.
More information about the trip, maps and directions will be posted on
our web site
(http://sclinux.org)
before Friday.
I would also like to have an informal meeting on Thursday, January 23 at
12:30 PM (lunch time) at the Jumpy Monkey Coffee Company
(http://www.jumpymonkey.com/)
at 513 6th Street, which is across from the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux
City. Let me know if this date/time doesn't work for you.
Brion.
