just my 2cents (with out knowing everything)but i think a the best setup would be to run MySQL or portage as the database on apache and export your access data as a text than reimport it into portage (ect). than you could set up the front page extensions and still use your form, or you could use some other scripting to ger your results such as php, perl.
i think one of the big questions you have to ask is.. is the access database the best to keep your data in, and is it time to move to somthing bigger. what is the future of this app, how will it be used in the future and who will be using it. how will i imput data? i think this could be a good group project, do an eval, find the options, and then do an implimation. you could bring the box to one of the lug meeting, do an install, setup the db and web. thightn the security and bring it back. http://www.postgresql.org/ http://www.mysql.com/ http://www.apache.org/ _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!
