Fortunately, I have secured a server, gone through my first install of Mandrake(super easy!) and am now compiling the Apache, PHP, and MySQL for the IRM package that I use on a different server for inventory. I am then going to bastardize the PHP and MySql code from IRM to work with the new database that I will import from an CSV export of the Access database.
Thank you all for your suggestions. Jake Sheets IT/GIS Engineer Sioux City Community School District Sioux City, IA 51101 712-279-6835 -----Original Message----- From: Ted Kat. The only way I ever got the two to go together , with out writeing my own lib's and what not, was to use Perl :) There is a perl mod out there that sets the rules and format of Access to use for your server { keep in mind though this was about 1 1/2 years ago since I tried such a bastard combo} If this is not to your likeing I would go with Mike's idea. Although DB translation is a bitch. ===== /^\|==::::: Ted Kat. :::::==|/^\ ------------------------------------- __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
