What did you have in mind for the Linux vs. BSD comparison?
        Ease of Installation?
        Compiling the Kernel?
        Firewall Capabilities?

Any of Ted's ideas are cool as well. I have wanted to see how other
people on the list use Linux. And maybe see one or two of their top
tricks. I think that even the most seasoned Linux expert would pick up
something new.

The 2.6 kernel would definitely be worth some discussion time.

I would be willing to help present one or more of these topics (on Feb.
28), but we should do individual presentations of how people use Linux.

Here's what I propose:

        1. Everyone who plans to attend puts together a 5 minute
presentation on how Linux serves a need (or a couple of tricks they
use).

        2. Coordination and group presentations would be welcomed. (i.e
You and your friend could present a 10-minute presentation)

        3. Document your topic for web posting.

I feel that these presentations could spark open discussions that would
prove helpful and interesting.

By the way, I seem to be having problems with my email access. If you
want to contact me further, you can try (mattlee -at- reganet -dott-
net) or
(mattl =at= rycan =dott= com) or via telephone.
