At this point, the switches that we are going to be using have one or
two gigabit cap ports. I don't think we are looking to actually use the
GB for desktops, mainly cause the majority of our machines have 10/100
cards in them.

As far as the wiring, there is no way in Hades that we have the money or
resources to run new wire in any or every building. We are lucky to be
able to upgrade to 10/100/1000 switches from our present majority of
10MB hubs....
