Hi Sclug'ers,
I'm looking for Volunteers to show us common folks how to set up
an Intrusion Detection System using snort.
Currently there are three phases that need to presented.
1. Installing snort and other software as needed. (rpm & source)
2. Setting up snort to do IDS.
3. How to interpret snort's data. (tools, reports, and email?)
Also I want to show off some basic utilities that newbies might find
handy.
What do you cats think?
