SCLinux Mail List Subscribers, I hope everyone received Mike's email explaining how he is setting up a new mail list for Siouxland's "Geek Tech" group using this list's current subscribers. You can opt out of that list by emailing Mike at [EMAIL PROTECTED] by 12/15/2005 and requesting to be removed. The Geek Tech group and mail list will address a wider variety of technology subjects then the Linux Group has. Mike will post more info about that list when it is ready.
We will be continuing the current mail list ([email protected]) for those interested in just Linux and Unix related topics. I will make an honest effort to get that list renamed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the next few days, but the old list address will also continue to work for new postings. The old announcements ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) mail list will be discontinued. Make sure you add the new email address [EMAIL PROTECTED] or the entire sclinux.org domain to your spam filter white lists. You can unsubscribe to the general list using [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can subscribe from a new address using [EMAIL PROTECTED] until we cut-over to the new list. I will post new instructions then. Important - There have been a few questions in regard to posting to this mail list during the past few months. This is not a moderated mail list, but you must to subscribe to the list from the email address which you are posting before your post will be processed by this list. We do not monitor rejections. If more then two messages to you from the list server bounce, your email address may be automatically removed from this mail list. If your post does not go through, make sure you are subscribed to the list with your current from email address. If you don't subscribe to this mail list and yet need to post to it, send your post directly to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or both) and I will post it for you. Thanks! Brion J.
