Summary: gpyfm's responsiveness decreases as file size increases
           Product: SCM Migration
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Solaris 11/Nevada
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: fm
        AssignedTo: scm-migration-dev at opensolaris.org
        ReportedBy: richlowe at richlowe.net

When merging large files (sd.c, ip.c.) gpyfm takes a noticeable amount of time
to actually make the changes requested from the GUI. Unscientifically timed,
the delay seems to be around a second and a bit, with sd.c (27590 lines, 495k).

This seems entirely unrelated to the size of the current change, solely the
absolute size of the files involved.

This is obviously a bad thing (the GUI gives no indication it's still busy,
etc, etc.) I haven't got to investigating this further, so it's unclear if
this is something gpyfm is doing, or the GTK text widgets being less than
optimal with such large contents.
