------- Comment #1 from richlowe at richlowe.net 2008-03-03 14:22 PDT ------- Created an attachment (id=184) --> (http://bugs.grommit.com/attachment.cgi?id=184&action=view) Sample With some fairly cautious additions to a .hgignore, I can cut this down to 8,869. Which is still way too many to make 'hg st -u' meaningful, but provides some speed increase to hg status and similar. This cuts proto, archives, logs, closed bins, packages, the debug32/debug64 objects (I didn't do an ND build, but their equivalents could be done too), all objects, all shared objects, make state, java build product, lint libs, etc. I think beyond this we'd be down to specifically targetting ignorance, which runs into the maintenance problem. (sometimes .po files are versioned, there's one versioned static archive). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.grommit.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
