I think an XML-RPC mechanism for communicating with bugzilla is in the works in Bugzilla 2.23.x.
I suppose it is also possible to add support for specifying in the log message the name of a file you would like to attach, or some way of retrieving that file. But, what would be the purpose of the diff attachment in bugzilla ?
