Hi
Kistis:
Many thanks for your reply. Kristis Makris wrote: Javier and Thorsten. Here are my latest findings:Ok, I'll try it with CVS and RT (remember that I don't use bugzilla) Could someone provide some insight regards to: I agree you, I think the problem with the commit is due to your machine locale configuration. Can you temporarly change your locale config to meet mine? This is my config: mistral:~# cat /etc/locale.gen es_ES.UTF-8 UTF-8 mistral:~# cat /etc/environment export LANGUAGE="es_ES.UTF-8:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:es_ES:es:en_GB:en" export LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 mistral:~# locale LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=es_ES.UTF-8:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:es_ES:es:en_GB:en LC_CTYPE="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_TIME="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_NAME="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="es_ES.UTF-8" LC_ALL= With this locale config I was able to send a commit whit accents a so on I think it would be better if you type your own log message using some accented vocals or the ñ symbol since I don't know what happens with all encoding conversions between my writing and your copy paste. For example I recently notice my Thunderbird is working in iso-8859-1 (it doesn't care about my locale config :-( ) Thanks.- |
