The current patch sent is incomplete, hence I can't incorporate it yet.

I understand your concern. I'm confident that the project is here to
stay. Personally, "Bugzilla support" is a priority, but "Bugzilla 3.0
support" is not. My personal priority at the moment is to fix bugs. When
someone steps up and contributes a patch for Bugzilla 3.0 backend
support I'll join in and help finish off the patch, test, etc. But I
can't go out and implement all 40 requested features right now on the
todo list "just because people want them". Perhaps later (after the
summer) I'll be able to change my personal priorities. But I cannot do
that right now. I am investigating options for allocating more time to
this project.

How does that sound ? Fair ?
