I did send this to the mailing list so don't worry. It's just when I
checked it I couldn't see my message.
I did what you said and this solved my problem. I moved the contents of
the the hooks directory to a backup directory and ran the command again,
but I had to edit the glue.conf file again because my changes were lost.
Thanks for the fast response. Almost nobody noticed the downtime.
