I have recently upgraded scmbug to version 0.23.3 and decided to use the opportunity to use some more of the features.
I have enabled the 'presence of bug id' setting to 'required' for one of the repositories that has mission critical software. This is working wonderfully, and we have the suitable restrictions on those pesky developers ;-) Anyway, the problem I am having is that we run our builds through LuntBuild, and this process tags the repository with the latest version id. This tagging process is recorded by scmbug as a check in (rightly), but rejects the check in as there is no bug id. Is it possible to disable the 'presence of bug id' setting for branch/tagging? I am not afraid of editing a line of code if that is the right solution, but I just could not work out the correct line to change Any help would be greatly appreciated, because at the moment, I can make the repository insecure, or not make any builds! Thanks Robert. Ps - I have already checked, and the check in message from luntbuild is hard coded, so cannot be altered to include a bug id in the message!
