David, many thanks for the initiative. I'm starting a new project in which ... the per-branch access policy is desperately needed. Out of all the proposed Scmbug extensions for SOC 08, this is the one I can be contributing to the most. The main limitation in *me* mentoring this is... that I'm not involved in a real-world production environment. Your suggestions for this policy were already shocking enough. You'd probably be the best fit for guiding this.
