Sounds smashing! Would you be able to support it in the future if it works out ? You could try starting from Jacek's patch. I would recommend you look at the Bugzilla.pm.in backend as an example. Also, I would *highly* recommend you run the testsuite against the JIRA backend that you will implement. Thanks for the patch: http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=1170 Is there some way the Makefile can know we are running on Mac OS X so we don't use "-p". Not using it for all systems sounds limiting. About the bugtracker, I'd rather I didn't give you an account yet. Could you send the patches here for now ?
