i'm running ScmBug in this environment. in order to run scmbug as a windows service, i used svnany, a tool that can run any program as a service. you can find it in the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9D467A69-57FF-4AE7-96EE-B18C4790CFFD&displaylang=en
it also needs some mangling with the registry so srvany will know what to run. you can try seaching for "how to run scmbug as a service" or "how to run perl script as a service" in your favourite search engine. this link will put you in the right direction: http://osdir.com/ml/bug-tracking.scmbug.user/2006-12/msg00010.html your other options are running the deamon as a scheduled task that runs at system start up, using the task scheduler (but then it runs only after logon), or just running it at the command prompt. you should note that the scmbug deamon should be on the same computer as bugzilla is. svn can be on another machine. tsahi -- The day Micro$oft sells something that doesn't SUCK is the day they start selling vacuum cleaners. http://www.geocities.com/tsahi_75 ----- Original Message ---- > From: Kristis Makris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: Glauber Stéfano Rezende <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: [email protected] > Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2008 8:48:00 PM > Subject: Re: [scmbug-users] Integration bugzilla+svn > > On Thu, 2008-05-15 at 14:39 -0300, Glauber Stéfano Rezende wrote: > > My environment is = Windows 2003 with Bugilla, and the Windows 2003 with > > subversion. > > This is a problem to scmbug? > > Some people were able to run Scmbug with Windows 2003.
