Seems to me the important question is if you want to keep the versions and it's associated bugs in Bugzilla or not. If not you can search the bugs in the extended search by providing products and versions your are interested in and assign all found bugs a new version by changing multiple bugs at once. Sounds to me you already have a person responsible for deleting no more needed branches in SVN, changing the associated bugs, too, shouldn't be that time intensive. If you want to keep the versions within Bugzilla if there are any bugs associated SCMBug would need some sort of configuration to get that told. I didn't find something like this in the current release. Since what version the deletion of versions in Bugzilla is implemented? I use a pretty old version, 0.19.7, and didn't come across this "issue", although I sometimes work the same way. I would want to know which bug existed in which version and after deleting a branch in SVN would just not want that people would file bugs against deleted version. I think renaming the version to something that tells users that it was used during development only and that development is over now would be one way to delete the version in SVN and keep the associated bugs in Bugzilla. This way one could file Bugs against the version even if it is not used anymore but the bug is pretty certain because of development in this branch. Else one could use a second product for each product to keep those branches and their bugs in it, by using group security to pretend people filing bugs against closed branches.
