Glad I didn't upgrade perl, yet. An interesting question for me is,
besides perl doesn't use all of your cores, what generates the heavy
load that your machine is busy for that time? I didn't recognize
something like that with my Server 2003 and perl 5.8.820 ever. May
this have something to do with repository size? We only have repos
with mostly less than 1000 versions.
