Hi Brian, the problem seems to be in the following lines. Look at the timestamps. It takes about 20 seconds to connect to the daemon at 127.0.0.1:3872.
I wonder if this is a configuration issue with your environment. e.g. if you bring up a command-line prompt and try to telnet to 127.0.0.1 port 3872, how long does that take ? Is there some firewall there, or instead of 127.0.0.1 did you perhaps use a hostname instead, which needs to be converted to an IP addresses, and perhaps some DNS server is timing out, in glue.conf ? This seems to be a networking issue with your environment.
