Since the title of this post is related to "latest" available versions:
* CentOS 5.5 has been recently released (corresponding to Red Hat 5.5): I've
just tested that - works fine
* Ubuntu 10.04 - works fine too (here subversion 1.6.6 is used and
PostgreSQL instead of MySQL) /i.e. no special packages here - these are the
versions built-in into that Ubuntu official repositories/.

(Just to remind: as I've mentioned - some additional patching on top of
scmbug was needed to make it work).
