Yes, but that's your own very personal rhythm, which you can't expect to get enforced onto a whole project with many other people involved. Just take into account that the other developers *don't* have vacation right now...and lead busy lives too.

You are free to act, and responsible for the way in which you present your person to the community, all by yourself. It's your choice which compromises you're willing to make, and to which extent you want to be part of the group, or not.
