Hello everyone: The final Cape Breton Gaelic Club meeting for the season will take place this Sunday, June 17,2001 (Fathers' day) at the Canadian American Club, 202 Arlington St. Watertown, Ma. This month, we are featuring Fiddler, John Campbell's 11 students. They will perform together, playing some great tunes that John has been teaching them the past many months. Lloyd Carr is their Piano player. Also, this month, Ed Pearlman along with his children, Neil and Lilly will entertain us with music and dance. They now live in Maine and plan to be in the Boston Area for Sunday. A big treat for us to see them again. Mary MacGillivray's Cape Breton Step dance students will also perform. All and all a real nice day is planned. Along with this line up, we expect the local musicians that always attend the meetings to be performing. The Gaelic Club will resume in September 2001 through June 2002, and always on the Third Sunday of the Month. Starting at 3 PM. I hope you can tell your friends to join us each month . We welcome everyone. Sincerely, Peggy Morrison President, Cape Breton Gaelic Club, Boston Branch Posted to Scots-L - The Traditional Scottish Music & Culture List - To subscribe/unsubscribe, point your browser to: http://www.tullochgorm.com/lists.html
