Ah well, Robyn, I didn't come to live in Crieff until the century after
you (I'm not getting into an argument about when the century started -
it would only spoil my poor joke), so I cannot be held responsible. In
the year and a half I've lived here I have never made to any of the
local fiddle/accordion events, because I'm usually working in Edinburgh
when they're on.

Believe it or not, in the 60s Crieff was quite a Mecca for folk music,
with Scotland's first folk festival and a thriving folk club. Changed
days: there's very little of a musical nature happening generally in
the area. There's a local group who are not bad (On The Wagon), but I
reckon it's up to me to get something going. I'll try to get along to
an accordion night one day and see what it's all about.
