As far as Dunbar is concerned, I am not sure whether I would recommend "Johnny Cope" as a subject for study, the days when jacobite songs were an obligatory part of the repertoire are over! Anyway the song starts as I recall - all too well - "Cope sent a challenge frae Dunbar". I used to teach this song to my guitar group at primary school.
