Funny how tunes move around from musician to musician, and end up getting
popular in different places. For instance this tune by a CB piano player
ending up being all the rage in English music sessions.
Last time I was in CB, I heard quite few people play the Greenfields of
Glentown by Tommy Peoples (for anyone who doesn't know he's a legendary
Donegal fiddler). I'm thinking that tune must have gone from: Sharon
Shannon -> Natalie MacMaster -> Ashley MacIsaac -> every other fiddler
on the island. Which is great, because that's a killer tune.
