Toby -
The book's been around since the last century. (ie 1997). Actually
Charlie did mention it once or twice on one of the lists we subscribe to,
and I bought it from an internet seller in Scotland. The tunes are all old
from stars such as Robt Mackintosh, Malcolm MacDonald, and John Glen. I've
played thru most of the tunes at least once but none struck my fancy at the
time.
Now that I've got it out I think I'll try a few again. It amazes me how
often I can go back to a tune that I tried once and rejected, and find that
on revisiting the tune is irresistable. So tahnks for bringing it up.
Charlie has been strangely silent. I can't recall having heard from him
for at least 6 months. Hope he' all right.
Cheers,
John
