 Believe it or not, I don't slur anything at all. Most of the multiple
notes per bowstroke I take are like the looped bowing technique we just
discussed a couple days ago on this list. Where there's a distinct break
in-between notes, even though the bow is still going in the same
direction. That gives each note some nice articulation. I started to
realize how cool that sound is after listening to the same Donald Angus
Beaton recording a million times driving around.

 This is a fun question. Since by "Scottish" you obviously don't mean
people necessarily from *Scotland* (as some of the people you mention
