[scottish] Dialling BT

I'm having problems dialing BT Internet (Normal number and Anytime number)   I tried KDE's default GUI dialler, kppp. It connected me to BT fine and all was well until I tried to do something like open Netscape. It couldn't find any servers, I couldn't even nslookup myself.. I'm thinking I haven't set something up correctly... maybe the nameserver.   Can anyone help? Or maybe tell me how exactly they dial to BT through linux.   Regards Martin
