I'm using Debian 2.2r3 which I got from the Linux Emporium
http://www.linuxemporium.co.uk/

It seems really good, there are a lot of features I like. The install
program does not set up as much as the Redhat installer does, but manual
setup is easier than Redhat. I've had one or two problems that I did not
have with Redhat, but I copied bits and pieces from the Redhat config files
so now it is set up I'm extremely happy with it. In summary once it is
going it is more reliable and easier to manage, but getting it to that
stage is a little tricky. Overall I'm glad I made the switch.

As for "Learning Debian" someone mentioned this to me but I haven't had a
look. I'm not sure whether it is based around 2.1 or 2.2, because I tried
2.1 and I have noticed a lot of changes (I didn't get far with 2.1 and went
for Redhat instead - since 2.2 I think I'll stick with Debian)

Steven.
