I just got Red Hat 7.1 and installed it, I have never used any kind of linux before and at the moment my impressions are quite good. I've managed to install it and get it to see the internet through my home network and also to print through my Win 2K box and my next task for it is as a mail server.
I would like it to download the e-mail from our accounts ([EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]) and then forward the messages to a mail server on the linux box which needs setting up. I would then like to get all of the windows machines (2K and Me) to fetch the mail off of the linux box. I am quite sure this is possible and would like to be either pointed to ward a text somewhere which explains how to do this, or better still talked through it. I don't want to just read a textbook and plug it in though because I want to learn what each step actually does.
