I am in the middle of setting my linux box up as a firewall/proxy server. I have a lanmodem which dials the internet for me, that is connected to the "outside" network card (192.168.1.30) and the "inside" network card is 10.10.1.1, my machine is 10.10.1.2
I am using the Firewall and Proxy Server HOWTO from http://www.linuxdocs.org I have used the tests that is shows and am now on the bit about securing the firewall (Section 6.5). It tells you to look in your /etc/inetd.conf file but I don't seem to have this so I'm a bit stuck. Can someone please cast some light my way.
