Arkeia is on the SuSE cd's. It's a nice point and click app, with reasonable scheduling/incremental/etc facilities. Very reliable as long as you give it the right tape number! I've got it working on various drives, including a Sony DDS in a Dell server... If you use the SuSE .rpm from the cd it will install startup scripts etc. You can also download it free for one Linux server from www.arkeia.com...
