XP will not demand NTFS is installed, it works on both FAT and FAT32 although it is highly recommended to use Fat32 over Fat16. Your best bet is to make a boot disk, then install XP. Once XP is fully installed and operational, use your boot disk to get back into Linux and restore the LILO boot sector. Easy, at least it was for me. Allan
P.S. Can anybody tell me how I can change my email address for the group, I have started to use another other than the one I signed up with. Also note that XP will rquire that your FAT partition is changed to NTFS (new version). -- Regards pete -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
