Comrades, Until today in order to use my Zip250 drive ( external parralel ) on Linux i've had to "su" to root and used "modprobe imm" on each boot of my machine. I've then had to manually mount the drive as /dev/sda4.
I upgraded to KDE2.2.2 this morning and was suprised to see the appearance of a "Mount Zip250" icon appear on my desktop , despite never having set such a thing up before. It doesn't work 100% though , because i still need to "modprobe imm" on each boot before it will work. Is there a way i can get the "modprobe imm" to happen automatically and then have my ZIp250 available at only the click of a mouse? Cheers, KW -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
