There was a mention of this fiasco on the BBC2 program Working Lunch
earlier this week. I got the impression that only about 30 people had
placed orders while the *erroneous* (per Kodak's claim) price was shown.

Now, how on earth it can it possibly be in Kodak's best interests to
pursue their current course of action? Swallowing a loss of 6,000 for an
end to this, and avoiding all this damaging publicity, would seem to be a
pretty cheap way out of it for them.

Apologies in advance if this email looks bad when it hits the list - I
ammm using a notes client for email, and an curious to see what it looks
like! :)
