Shouldn't be a problem - I added a Belkin OHCI card to a P120 so I could use
my Alcatel frog with my firewall when I got ADSL installed, and it was
picked up without issue.  It's picked up in the same way as USB off the mobo
would be - the only difference is where it's presented on the PCI bus - e.g.
not embedded but in a slot.

Linux won't notice the difference.  Well, as long as you remember to compile
USB support into the kernel ;)
