Grab your Phillips, it's... The Latest from The Screwdriver List! I have a Athlon system with the Asus A7V motherboard the performance is very good and the processor its self cost less than a Pentium 3 but it is not as easy to configure as the Pentium 3 and because of this I am now finding out that the Athlon system cost just as much to build as the Pentium 3 having to buy a power supply it must be very good and the bigger the better they don't come to good or to big for an Athlon and the motherboards chipset don't like cas 3 ram it wants the best and fastest ram cas 2 Crucial To some people the little extra speed may be worth it but to me it is not so if the extra speed is worth it to you thank about an athlon and a Asus A7V Motherboard and some good ram cas 2 and a very good power supply like enermax or the turbo cool 450 from pc power and cooling. if not thank about a Pentium 3 coppermine 133MHz bus and the Intel D815EEA motherboard . And as fare as playing games you can play just about any game on the planet with an Intel Pentium 2 233MHz So a 733MHz or 866MHz should work for a long time what will help is a good processor and a fast video card TNT2 sounds good. and 128MB ram. well that's What I thank after building my system that. ----- Original Message ----- From: "WildCat!
