Hi, decided to do my first project in Scribus, taking a brave step away from Quark XPress...
I have a reasonable machine (P4 1.8Ghz, 256Mb ram) but Scribus is terrifically slow when I type into a text box. There is a few seconds delay between each keystroke and the letters appearing on screen. I'm using Debian/Sarge/Testing, "Scribus 1.2RC1" Is it just the way it is, or is something wrong? I've googled and seen articles which give me hope that it's a temporary problem. thank you rich
