/I have a reasonable machine (P4 1.8Ghz, 256Mb ram) but Scribus is /terrifically /slow when I type into a text box. There is a few seconds delay between each /keystroke and the letters appearing on screen. / /I'm using Debian/Sarge/Testing, "Scribus 1.2RC1" / /Is it just the way it is, or is something wrong? I've googled and seen /articles /which give me hope that it's a temporary problem.
you should use story editor instead of typing in the text directly. regards, bostjan
