Well, it's either this, or a white gap between two parts of the image. 
The duplicated part is lost in the binding area, remember? Because the 
image frame is spread on facing pages. As long as the binding area is 
correctly defined, the reader should see a more or less complete and 
natural picture when he or she opens the magazine/book on these pages.
