it depends... if you just started using scribus: yes, go for 1.4RC5. if you're a long time scribus user and you're happy with 1.3.3.14, there is no reason to upgrade before 1.4 get released. but, then, you should install 1.4RC5 and test to see if everything is ok for you... but keep on using 1.3.3.14 (they can be installed side by side) and if you hit a bug which is really annoying for you: upgrade to 1.4RC5 (since 1.4 will be the next stable after 1.3.3.14...) ciao a.l.e
